Studio policies are intended to provide a high-quality and consistent education for all students. Please read the policies carefully and feel free to reach out with any questions.

Music Lesson Policies

PennyParkStudios Music Lesson Tuition Rates

-Cash and/or Check only-

1/2 Hour Private Lesson - $45.00 per lesson

3/4 Hour Private Lesson - $60.00 per lesson

1 Hour Private Lesson - $80.00 per lesson

PennyParkStudios Music Lesson Session Dates

Fall Session: September-December

Winter Session: January-March

Spring Session: April-June

Tuition Payments

Lesson tuition is pre-paid monthly or in three-month sessions and is due at the first lesson of the month or session.
If payment is not received before the second lesson, no further lessons will be given to the student until payment is received.
If payment is made by check and it is returned by the bank, the parent of the student or the adult student will be charged the bank fee.
PennyParkStudios reserves the right to not schedule students with outstanding balances until paid in full.
Only currently enrolled students may attend lessons.

Illness

There are no refunds for students who cancel on the day of their lesson.

A student may choose to attend a virtual lesson if they are experiencing any symptom of illness. Please email pennyparkstudios@gmail.com prior to the lesson time to arrange a virtual lesson.
PennyParkStudios reserves the right to send a student home if the student has a fever equal to or greater than 100.4 or is displaying any outward signs of illness. This will be considered a same-day cancellation and will not be credited or refunded.
If previously arranged and with the consent of the teacher, a student who is exhibiting symptoms of illness less than a fever and has received a negative COVID-19 antigen test result on the day of their lesson may attend the lesson, but must wear an N-95 or KN-95 mask throughout.

Cancellations, Reschedules,
and Make-ups

No refunds will be issued for same-day cancellations.
If 48 hours notice is given, students have the option of making up the lesson within two weeks of the original lesson date.
Available times for rescheduled lessons are determined by the availability of each teacher and may fall outside of regular lesson or studio hours.
Previously rescheduled lessons that are then cancelled are not subject to refund or reschedule.
If a student is unable to attend any proposed reschedule times within two weeks of the original lesson a refund will not be issued.
The teachers at PennyParkStudios are professional musicians and are always booking their time accordingly. In order to best accommodate both student and teacher please give no less than 48 hours notice to reschedule any lesson.
